I'm Luis

I’m Luis Villaran.  I am a hardware generalist.  What does that mean?  It means that I have breadth and depth of experience in terms of stage of project — R&D to manufacturing — as well as in product disciplines — mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software. I’ve built and led cross-disciplinary teams in delivering new technologies to product and I always take a systems-level approach to getting things done.

I’m also a generalist outside of work.  I use my limited guitar and vocal skills to write and record my own music.  I play soccer and tennis whenever I get the chance.  And lately, I’ve done several woodworking projects around the house.  Check out my portfolio while you’re here!
